COFFEE AND US
We both love coffee. But what is the best coffee machine, or which one to choose? Although there are times when we choose tea or hot water with lemon, most of the times we go for coffee. I decided to write this post as a few months ago we changed out coffee machine. The research and the time we put into choosing a new one made me think it may be useful for others to see what options are out there. We don’t consider ourselves coffee nerds but when we decided to change our coffee maker, we spent almost a month researching for a new one. When we moved in, we had a bean-to-cup coffee machine. Soon after, we had to change it for a more compact capsule coffee maker. The space on the kitchen counter was a challenge, and as a result, we gave away our bean-to-cup machine, and went for a smaller one. Today we have a ground coffee machine. Right in the middle of the two, and one of the best coffee makers we’ve had so far.
BEAN-TO-CUP COFFEE MACHINES
Bean-to-cup coffee machines have an in-built grinder and are arguably the best coffee makers if you are looking to use fresh coffee with as little effort as possible. Our first coffee maker was a DeLongi. We love the brand and are absolutely convinced of its quality. My in-laws have a very reliable Russell Hobbs Chester Grind and Brew Coffee Machine. And given it is almost half of the price of a DeLongi I would say it is worth considering. If your budget can be stretched a bit, I would advise you to have a look at a Krups. This brand has been, by far, one of the best in terms of customer care. Their customer service never let me down (I used to own an old Krups during my student years).

CAPSULE COFFEE MACHINES
Maybe not the most popular brand when it comes to capsule coffee machines, but definitely a brand we trust, Bosch have a really nice coffee maker with a very attractive price. Have a look at this model if you’re thinking of going for a capsule coffee maker. I know I am not bringing anything new here, but if you’re looking at a capsule coffee maker, you should consider a Nescafé Dolce Gusto Coffee Machine. They are reliable, affordable and compact. I cannot fault a Dolce Gusto as I had one a few years ago. It worked absolutely fine, and gave me no troubles. And here we go with the popular Nespresso Inissia. It is perhaps one of those popular coffee makers you can find anywhere from a home to an office. Same as with anything else I am recommending, I would shop around. Have a look on Amazon, and if you decide to buy it from a shop ask if they do a price match. If you are a coffee drinker I hope this post helps you find a machine that suits your lifestyle and taste.
